The Capital Hotel seeks a Turndown Attendant to help maintain our high standards for the guest experience in every room. Two years of previous housekeeping experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • Thoroughly clean guest rooms to include: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Restock and replace used items within guest rooms
  • Communicate clean status of each room upon completion
  • Communicate with Engineering to ensure that any problems found within each room is taken care of accordingly
  • Communicate with all hotel guests and co-workers efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner

Skills and Requirements

  • Completion of high school
  • 2 years of related hotel housekeeping experience preferred
  • Must be a quick learner willing to help out at all times
  • Must be able to read and follow instructions
  • Must be able to maintain speed and accuracy when cleaning rooms
  • Must be able to bend, reach and lift on a daily basis
  • Must be able to spend the majority of the day on feet
  • Required to pass our background and driving record check
