The Capital Hotel seeks full time PM Suite Servers for the hotel’s food and beverage operations.

Include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain positive relationships between all departments, specifically Sales, in order to organize and deliver all guest amenities
  • Pleasantly greet all guests by name, particularly those on the VIP list
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the groups that are in-house and what areas of the hotel they are occupying
  • Maintain knowledge of all menus, menu items and hotel services in order to provide remarkable service
  • Speak clearly and politely when answering all phone orders
  • Assist with maintaining Hotel presentation standards by preparing trays and mise en place properly
  • Personally retrieve and deliver food orders from the appropriate outlet ensuring that the guest’s meal was prepared properly and to their expectation
  • Honor our guests by offering engaging, anticipatory and memorable service
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel by collecting all service trays upon appointment or at guest request

Skills and Requirements

  • High school degree is required
  • 1-2 years experience in upscale food service is preferred
  • Must have an engaging, warm and helpful personality
  • Must have ability to move service trays and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work positively while under pressure
  • Ability to maintain positive morale and professional attitude
  • Required to pass our background and driving record check
