We are looking for a hard working individual that has interest in food prep/cooking and dishwashing in a farm-to-table/event kitchen that’s full of hard working fun individuals.

The Trellis Room at Post Winery is looking for summer kitchen help.  We are a farm-to-table food program that focuses on lunch service, limited events, and preparing ready-to-go foods for our reach in cooler.

We are focused on using locally grown, fresh, high quality, organic when available ingredients.  We cook from scratch.

Lots of opportunity for recipe and menu collaboration with the head chef.

Duties include but not limited to:

Daily food prep, cooking and managing food station during service hours.

Putting away food, dishwashing, cleaning kitchen area.

Hours are: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday (Saturday only is available)

Qualifications desired:

Experience working in the food industry.

Education in the food industry including, Serve Safe Food.

Formal experience and education is not required.

Being prompt, clean and neat appearance, with a positive attitude.

Must be able to lift 40#s, bend and twist and stand for extended periods of time.

Job would be solid from June – July with maybe a little time on either side.

This position has the possibility of being eligible for other positions within our organization.

Due to the nature of the position, we do not hire smokers.

Hiring is contingent upon passage of a drug test.
