The Capital Hotel seeks a Bar Back to assist our bartenders in providing an excellent guest experience. Bar or restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Bartender with providing friendly, courteous, and excellent and beverage preparation for all guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar
  • Maintain current knowledge of all policy and procedures concerning service of all alcoholic beverages
  • Restock and maintain service supplies throughout the shift
  • Clean all equipment and bar areas
  • Stock all glassware, garnishments, beer, wine, liquor, mixers, and any other necessary items

Skills and Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent education is required
  • 1-2 years of previous restaurant experience is preferred
  • Must be a strong and effective communicator
  • Must maintain a strong sense of honesty and integrity at all times
  • Must be able to work positively while under pressure
  • Ability to maintain positive morale and professional attitude
  • Required to pass our background and driving record check
